1. Write down a postcard inviting a person to your mom or dad’s birthday party.

Use be going to and indirect object pronouns.

Describe the date, and the things you and other people are going to do for the celebration.

E.g. …my sister is going to buy my mother some flowers and I’m going to bake her a cake …

2. With a map of your city, record yourself giving at least five different directions to go to
specific places in your hometown.
Use vocabulary and grammar from unit 3 lesson A and B.

For example:
A: Excuse me, could you give me directions to the Wax museum?
B: Sure. Go straight ahead for two blocks. You’re going to see a bus stop. Make a right and
go down the street about a block. It’s on the left.
