Company profile:

Nike known as one of the biggest sports arena business giants was found in 1964 by Phillip
H. Knight and his partner William jay Bowerman. The head quarter of Nike is in Beaverton,
OR. Nike basically engages in development, design, marketing and sale of the athletic
accessories, services, footwear apparel and many more. It is one of the biggest business giant
sports product manufacturer of the world.

Workspace description:
The workspace of Nike New York Head Quarter is consisted of six floors on the 855 avenues
of America, specially designed by Nike’s workspace designer and connectivity team along
with the New York based company called Studios Architecture. This sport giant was founded
in Oregon established with a stronger with the city. The indoor basketball court of this
workspace is measured to be 4000 square feet along with 400 seats which is more community
focused feature. Nike has already presented the deep affinity of its with New York in the
recent campaign called #NewYorkMade which is including a community collaboration series
and intervention all over the city. The head quarter has been designed as a series of ‘’freestyle
space’’ and open plan intended for encouraging creativity and collaborating among its 180
employees.

Due to the innovation Nike can make 75% of its products from recycled plastics and wastes
which is generated from its production process. As a result, the cost of raw material is
generated from the waste and basically the waste it generates become zero as no waste
remains and Nike is now positioned as the business leader and able to focus on the long term
goals instead of putting out fires.
