Background of the Study

1
Panic can occur at any sudden situation. It may be due to an intruder
entering our home, or a poor state of health. Panicking situations can be many and
can vary from person to person. We may not be able to get intimate with the people
around us during such emergencies. In this study we'll see how we can make a
simple panic alarm that can help us intimate others regarding our bad situation
without delay.

Design
The circuit is made using IC 555 timer, buzzer, a few resistors and
capacitors with low cost hardware. It is made to work reliably as it has simple to
use and hardware that is not as sensitive as 555 timer, ceramic buzzer, capacitors
etc. Although no exclusive arrangement is used to make any compensation for the
variable parameters, the circuit is made to be robust and easy to use by default.
With a single button, it is very user friendly to press to handle the situation of
panicking without any trouble.

Scope and Limitation

Significance of the study

We can never tell whether an emergency is bound to happen and
with that, we should be urgent to response to this kind of situation. A Panic
Alarm Circuit is used to immediately send an emergency signal to the
people in the vicinity to call for help or alert them. The possible situation of
panic can be any, it's not limited to a few situations. One could possibly
keep the push button at a distance reachable by hand or place it
comfortably, by pressing a single button, to perform quick action in silence.
The emergency indication can be either in the form of a visible or audible
signal, which can be fixed through wire at a few meters away.
