PMC vespers is canceled this evening in place of
the 10 Days of Prayer at Youngberg’s home.

Start the New Year right! For their 30th con-
secutive year join John and Beverly Young-
berg in their home. The incredible topic will be:
“Enoch—How Can You & I Walk With God, and
Please God” (Heb. 11:5)? Join us for fellowship,
prayer, and take-home quotes you will treasure.
We Mourn
Although this season of the year is a celebration
of the first coming of Jesus, it can be a time of
sorrow for families who have recently lost their
loved ones. But we have the wonderful hope of
Christ’s second coming when these families will
see them again! There are several deaths which
are listed below and prayers would be most wel-
come for each family.
For the family of Wendell Cole who passed away
on December 20. Visitation was on Thursday,
January 2. A memorial service will take place in
Arpin, Wisconsin at a later date.
For the family of John Pangman who passed
away in Tennessee on December 22. Memorial
service arrangements are pending.
For the family of Gary Stanhiser who passed away
on December 22. His mother, Eleanor Stanhiser,
was a long-time member of Pioneer. A memorial
service will be held in Loma Linda on January 3.

New Year Reading Plan
Our New Year theme at Pioneer begins with a
congregation-wide 13-week journey through
the short classic Steps to Christ—and you’re
invited to join us. You should have received
the e-book and check-off reading calendar
in your inbox. Starting this month read a
chapter a week to experience a DIY way to
deepen your walk with Christ in 2020. The
book reoriented my (DKN) life spiritually as
a 22-year-old student here on campus. You’ll
be just as blessed. If you did not receive this
