ENGLISH ASSIGNMENT

COMPARE ACTIVE AND PASSIVE


 Look at these sentences.
 Nurse Jane gave an injection to Mr. Johnson.
 Nurse Jane gave Mr. Johnson an injection.
 An active sentence with a verb like “give”can have two different structure.
 If we use a passive sentence, either an injection or Mr.Johnsoncan be the subject.

EXERCISE 1: Write sentences about nurse’s activity in ward.
