ARMED FORCES TRIBUNAL (PRINCIPAL BENCH) NEW DELHI F.No, 22(Q)2017/AF Tidudl 30” May, 2020 CIRCULAR Pursuant tothe directions ofthe Fion’ble Chairperson, it was notified, vide Cireuler even number ated 27° May, 2020, thatthe Prineipel Bench of the Armed Forces Tribunal shall Function during the ‘entire month of Jane 2020, cancelling the ensuing summer vacation and the matters scheduled from 24 March, 20200 31°" May, 2020 before the Principal Beach shall be taken up from 1 June, 2020 ‘onwards in the manner as indicated in the said Circular. Accordingly, the matters scheduled for 24% March, 2020 were listed, a per the Daily Cause List of 01* June, 2020, together with fresh admission. ‘matters and urgent miscellaneous applications, which were filed subsequently and never listed before OV" June, 2020. The Ministry of Home Affairs, Goverment of India, vide Order dated 30 May, 2020, has now «extended the period of lockdown in Containment Zones till 30" June, 2020, However, prohibited activities have been re-opened in dreas outside the Containment Zones in a phased manmer, as per the suidelines annexed therewith Keeping in view the fact that the cases relating to COVID-19 are stil drastvally increasing day by day throughout the county, it has been directed thatthe matters scheduled from 24* March, 2020 to 29 May, 2020, shall now be taken up continuously on all working days of the Tribunal from 08 June, 2020, instead of O1" June, 2020 im the manner as méicated in the Circular even mumber dated 27" May, 2020, depending on further orders of the Government of India on lockdown. Accordingly. ‘the matics scheduled for 24° March, 2020 along with fresh admission matters, which were filed ibsequently and never listed before 01" June, 2020, shall now be taken up on 08% June, 2020; and the matters scheduled for 25 March, 2020, 26" March, 2020 and so on and so forth shall now be taken up from 09 June, 2020, 10 June, 2030 and so on and 6 forth, However, MA 685/2020 in OA Dy No. 1671/2020 shown at SL. No. O1 in the Daily Cause List ‘of 01 June, 2020 before Court NoOl (Hon'ble Chairperson) for Orders and MAS 686/2020, 1687/2020, 688/2(20, 689/2020, 6/2020 4691/2020 shown from 31 Nos. 30 035 in the Daily Cause List of O1* June, 2020 before Court No.02 (Hon'ble Ms. Justice Sunita Gupta & Hon'ble Air Marshal BBP. Sinha) being urgent matters, will be taken up by Court No Ol (Hon'ble Chairperson & Hon"ble Lt Gen Philip Campose) on 01* June, 2020; and OA 1906/2018 shown at SI. No. O1 in the Daily 1use List of O1* June, 2020 before Court No.02 (Hon'ble Ms, Justice Sunita Gupta & Hon'ble Lt ‘Gen Philip Campose) for Judgment, will be taken up by Hon'ble Lt Gen Philip Campose, Member A) for pronouncement of jadgment on 1 June, 2020. {inthis connection, the learned counsel may also refer to the contents ofthe Circular even number dated 29! May, 2020 relating to their appearance before the Principal Bench of the Tribunal, in this behalf, which is already available on the website of the Tribunal ‘As already conveyed, the matters relating to the Principal Bench and the Regional Benches of ‘the Tribunal ivolving extreme urgency shall be taken up during the period of lockdown.
