1. Discuss by citing examples, the following TRENDS that shapes the ARCHITECTURE BUILDINGS
throughout the centuries.
-the increasing durability of the materials used
As time past by the materials contentiously develop on how make it durable. For example the use wood for
trusses are not mostly made up of steel. That is more durable and can carry much heavier load. This is just
a simple example of adapting new material for durability.

-a quest for building of ever greater height and span

Most buildings are now huge and have a massive structure as time past by, many of buildings are now in
to much height like the skyscraper. Best exam of this is the Burj kalihfa. That has a tall height and large
span. I think tall building become a trend in a reason that in gives more lot of spaces.

-the degree of control exercise over the interior environment of the buildings
Interior of the building is where the user/people do stuffs for the building. Designing a good interior for a
nice flow and function of the building. Proper planing of the interior must execute to provide a nice and
better solution.

-the change in energy available in construction process

Energy in very essential in the construction process, lots of equipment and device in construction are now
Function by means of energy weather it came from electricity, battery and other source of energy. That is
why source of energy in must more develop to provide the construction.

2. ARCHITECTS are said to be VISIONAIRES. If it so, how do you see the future of construction industry in
the next 20 years. What new TREND will dominate in the NEW NORMAL explain.

20 years from now many things will change, the way of living, transportation, technology and even
buildings and structures. I visualized living in that future will be hard because we all know our world keeps
getting worst. I think it that particular time the construction industry works with much providing and
keeping on reducing the disturbance of natural environment. In that mean time I’ve see our buildings
became modernized like in movies. Construction of building will also become faster because of new
equipment that will be develop in that time. New materials will be develop, woods would not much use in
construction because in that time I think there are no enough source of wood, it mere trees in that time
will be so much protected. Because they become lesser than before. Also other natural or indigenous
materials will be replace by alternative materials to protect the natural environment. What am I pointing is,
natural materials will be replace my new develop materials just to protect them because it does not have
enough source.

3. Can STRUCTURE become or enhance ARCHITECTURE? HOW? Cite some example?

Structure enhance architecture it is because structures are once expression, interpretation, and
adaptation on the designers architectural work. Structures are the product of architectural study. By means
of this time to time the deeper we study architecture the strictures keep on enhancing.
4. Architecture are DESIGNER, THINKER, PROBLEM SOLVER. If you were to invent something helpful in
our INDUSTRY IN OUR TIME. What would that be?

If I where invent something, I want to invent materials that can reduce and minimized wasted
materials. Like inventing a hollow blocks made up of waste materials, also pipes made up of recycled
plastics. And also I want to invent material that can be alternative to wood, same durability and strength.
To reduce usage of wood to prevent cutting trees. In this kind of inventions I hope it will help in our
industry.
