3. Here's how the Bible study works. Each Saturday you'll receive the lesson for that
week, including several questions for you to ponder. Read the passage and begin to
think about the first question. Then (if you've signed up for the "daily question"
version) you'll receive a question each day.

8. The purpose of this is to keep you thinking about the passage all week long --
wrestling with its meaning and application for your life. This "immersion" method is
designed to aid the Holy Spirit in bringing about change in your life as you go
through the study.

9. You can respond to the questions (or read others' responses) on the Joyful Heart
Bible Study Forum. Each question you receive contains a URL or hyperlink directing
you to the proper section of the Forum.

10. If you've been involved with one of my previous Bible studies, you can use your same
username and password for the Forum. (If you forgot your password, it will allow you
to reset your password.) If you're new to these online Bible studies, you'll need to
register at the Forum. (This is different from signing up to receive the e-mail lessons --
you're already on the e-mail list.) To keep from getting confused, why don't you Read
