Amigaerumi: (Gaeru Is Frog in Japanese) by Erika Hughes & Jonathan Lewy
Materials:
Yarn: Worsted-weight acrylic
Hook: US F/3.75mm
Fiberfill
Small pebbles or plastic beads
Plastic eyes
Glue (for attaching eyes)
Small amount of contrasting yarn for mouth and nose
Assembly:
Stuff head with fiberfill. Put a few plastic pellets or pebbles in bottom of body,
then stuff remainder with fiberfill. Sew head to body. Stuff eyes lightly and sew
to top of head. Attach tops of legs to widest part of base of body. Attach arms at
neck. Bend legs in frog-crouching position. Attach plastic eyes to knitted eyes.
Embroider mouth and nostrils. Hop away!
