FOUR OF THE 5 PLAYERS AT THE TOP OF THE LEADER BOARD

DAVE & BUSTER’S

Here are the results from Week #17:

Table 1: #20 Joe Lopiccola (15 points) vs #7 Brandon Rayl (0): Brandon could not make the league night
and forfeits the match. Joe 15 points Brandon 0 points
Table 2: #5 Walter Wnuk (11 points) vs #3 Doug Johnson (13 points): 8 Ball Set saw Doug win the set
4-3 with a break and run out in game 6. Doug takes the 9 Ball Set 4-3. Walt notched a 3-9 combo in game 1
and nailed a 9 ball on the break in game 6 to tie Doug on the hill. Walt takes the 10 Ball set 4-3. Walt made a
2-10 combo in game two, stalled a bit before nailing wins in games 5, 6 & 7 to take the set. Nice shooting by
both. Doug wins the match 13 points to 11 for Walter. Good shooting by both in a close match.
Table 3: #6 Ray Ressler (13 points) vs #2 Omar Demara (8 points): Omar opened up the match winning
the 8 Ball Set 4-3 but did help Ray get to the hill when he made the 8 ball out of turn. Ray comes back to take
the 9 Ball set with a 4-1 set win taking a 2 point lead in the match. Ray takes the 10 Ball Set with a 4-2 set
win. Nice effort by Omar and good shooting by Ray. Ray wins the match 13 points to 8 for Omar .
Table 4: #4 Scott Kroll (7 points) vs #1 Ron Price (12 points): I did not have the particulars of the match
at the time of this printing. Ron wins the match 12 to 7 for Scott. Good shooting by both.
Table 5: #8 Wayne Brill (2 points) vs #19 Mike Bates (15 points): Wayne notched the opening win in the 8
Ball Set and then stalled with Mike taking the next 4 games to win the set 4-1. Mike swept Wayne in the 9 Ball
Set 4-0 making it 8 straight unanswered points. Mike takes the 10 Ball Set with a 4-1 set win. Mike wins the
match, 15 points to 2 points for Wayne. Nice try by Wayne and good shooting by Mike B.
Table 6: #9 Victor Francisco (8 points) vs #18 Peter Ramonat (13 points): Victor takes the 8 Ball Set 4-3
which included a break and run out in game 3. After falling behind, he took the last 3 games to win the set.
Peter comes right back in the 9 Ball set and takes the set 4-2 to take a 1 point lead in the match. After Victor
nailed the win in the first game of the 10 Ball Set, Peter stormed back taking the next 4 games to close out
the set and the match with 13 points as Victor gets 8 points. Good shooting by both players.
Table 7: #10 Marty McCuiston (6 points) vs #17 Kent Jenkins (12 points): Kent shut Marty out in the 8
Ball Set, 4-0. Marty could only muster 1 game in the 9 Ball Set as Kent stopped him again, this time 4-1. The
10 Ball Set went to Marty as Kent stalled out after making a 8-10 combo in game 4. Marty strung together
back to back wins in games 2&3 and 5&6 to take the set, 4-2. Kent wins the match, 12 points to 6 for Marty.
Good effort by Marty and nice shooting by Kent.
Table 8: #11 John Killett (3 points) vs #16 Mike MacMahon (15 points): M&M wins the 8 Ball Set taking
the set 4-0. John wins one game in the 9 Ball Set as M&M wins the set 4-1. After winning the first 3 games in
the 10 Ball Set, John made an attempt to come back winning the 4th and 5th games to close the gap. He
could not hold off M&M and loses the set, 4-2. M&M wins the match 15 points to 3 points for John. Good try
by John and nice shooting by Mike M.
Table 9: #12 Jaret Wilson (4 points) vs #15 Mike Jernigan (15 points): Mike J continues to play well and
takes the 8 Ball Set with a 4-1 set win, that included an 8 ball on the break in game 2. Jaret came back some
in the 9 Ball Set posting 2 wins but could not contain a determined Mike J. Mike J takes the set, 4-2. Mike
continued to play good and takes the 10 Ball Set, 4-1. Mike posted a break and run out in game 4 in the set.
Mike wins the match 15 points to 4 for Jaret. Nice try by Jaret and good shooting by Mike who continues to
maintain a 2 point lead in the standings.
Table 10: #13 Jim Pellerito (8 points) vs #14 Dave Evans (10 points): Dave Evans came out determined
and takes the 8 Ball Set with a sweep, 4-0 against Jim P. Both players have made considerable improve-
ments in their games this session. Jim turned the tables on Dave in the 9 Ball Set and swept the set 4-0 to tie
Dave in the match. The 10 Ball Set went back and forth with both players getting to the hill. Dave found the
opening in the 7th game to win the set, 4-3. Dave takes the match 10 points to 8 points for Jim in a very close
match. Good shooting by both players.
