Background
The Warehouse in which the fire broke out, consisted stock worth 1,00,000rs Which was still not
accounted for excise duty, But Fortunately it was insured.

Findings
According to fire officials the fire has broke out due to electric short circuit.

The short circuit has happened because of the leakage of water pipe near the electric board. The fire
mishap came into the light after one of our worker Suraj informed us about the incident. We along
with the fire officials could bring situation in our control within 1hour,But we lost all the new stock of
garments which was imported by Surat.

However, Fortunately no employee was harmed in the incident.

The main issue was found that

The pipes were of not good quality, and it was draining on electric board.

Weekly inspection of electric board was ignored by production department.

Even the workers feedback was not taken serious, about this issue.
