Methodology of Research
This chapter discusses the methods that have been used in the collection and analysis of data to
answer the questions of the study. It explains the research design, sampling techniques, and data
collection methods used and describes how data collected from the research has been analyzed . The
researchers conduct the study in a descriptive way/method of research because it identify or determine
some of the factors that might affect to a consumers buying decision/behavior . And preferences to attain
sustainability of the product and that establishment itself. In this study , the researchers will conduct a
interview to gather information. The information that the researchers gather were used to the formulation
of the interview questionaires and additional information for the study itself.

I. Research Design
This study used qualitative method it is primarily exploratory research. It is used to gain an
understanding of underlying reasons, opinions, and motivations. It provides insights into the problem or
helps to develop ideas or hypotheses for potential quantitative research. Qualitative Research is also used
to uncover trends in thought and opinions, and dive deeper into the problem. Qualitative data collection
methods vary using unstructured or semi-structured techniques. Some common methods include focus
groups (group discussions), individual interviews, and participation/observations. The sample size is
typically small, and respondents are selected to fulfil a given quota.
This study will be conduct a descriptive techniques that means descriptive research are the methods
that describes the characteristics of the population or phenomenon that is being studied. This focuses
more on the “what” of the research subject rather than the “why” of the research subject. In other words,
descriptive research primarily focuses on describing the nature of a demographic segment, without
focusing on “why” a certain phenomenon occurs. In other words, it “describes” the subject of the
research, without covering “why” it happens.
Characteristics of Descriptive Research the term descriptive research then, refers to research
questions, design of the research and data analysis that would be conducted on that topic. It is called an
observational research method because none of the variables that are part of the research study are
influenced in any capacity.

II. Data Collection technique

As far as data collection tools were concerned, the conduction of the research involved the use of
semi-structured questionnaire, which was used as an interview guide for the researcher. Some certain
questions were prepared, so as for the researcher to guide the interview towards the satisfaction of
research objectives, but additional questions were made encountered during the interviews. Clarifying the
research domain or the specific research question. This method can uncover rich descriptive data on the
personal experiences of participants. Information gathered during semi-structured interviews can move
the innovation process from general topics (domains) to more specific insights (factors and variables). It
can be used to develop a preliminary hypothesis, explain relationships and create a foundation for further
research.
II.A Demographic Background
This section analyses the various demographic characteristics of the respondents. Supporting the
personal question, together the questions provided in the statement of the problem.
II.B Interview Guide
The researchers will be provided some questions in a particular order, researchers used the
interview guide to avoid a miss-communication. After the interviews were transcribed and analyzed, the
data was destroyed for confidentiality purposes.
II.C Statement of the problem
This research attempts to know how the milktea became popular to some of the people among
urbanites in bulacan in our society nowadays.

III. Instrumentational
The researchers will use an interview guide that will serve as a help for them to ask questions that
are relate to the study. The researchers will analyze and interpret the data that will be given by the chosen
respondents. The researchers will also use a structured interview to easily describe the answers of the
respondents. The researchers will use a Structured Interview. According to Surbhi(2007), Structured
interview refers to a type of personal interview, in which the interviewer uses a fixed format, wherein the
questions are prepared in advance. It uses highly systematized techniques of recording. The researchers
will use an interview guide, it contains the Participants’ demographic backgrounds, and questions that are
have relations with the goal of the study. In additional another instrument that the researchers will use is a
cellular phone to surely preserve their answer and to easily describe or interpret their answers. Interview
will be used as a tool gathering of data is important information. By these data, the researchers can
analyze the information, relate it to their hypotheses and come up with a conclusion.
IV. Sampling
According to Tuovila(2019), Sampling is a process used in statistical analysis in which a
predetermined number of observations are taken from a larger population. The methodology used to
sample from a larger population depends on the type of analysis being performed, but it may include
simple random sampling or systematic sampling. The researchers choose the respondents randomly, if
he/she a student or a worker. In the study, the researchers want to find out if who are the most milk tea
consumer.Nowadays, many people used to drink some beverages such as the Bubble Tea and Iced
Coffee, Frappe and many more, because they believe that some beverages makes them chilled and
relaxed. Some workers, wants to satisfy their thirst as well as the students who are mostly wants to be in
on the society trends. The study was conducted specifically at the Capitol on Malolos, Bulacan. The
researchers will use a probability sampling to avoid being biased. As stated by Adwok(2015), Probability
sampling specifies to the researcher that each segment of a known population will be represented in the
sample. Probability samples lend themselves to rigorous analysis to determine the likelihood and
possibility of bias and error (2). Random selection is the process of choosing the components of a sample
that ensures each member of a population stands the same chance of selection (3,4). The characteristics of
the sample are assumed to be similar to the characteristics of the total population it is drawn from. The
initial step in choosing a sample, therefore, is to define the sample frame. Most of the people was here,
some are students who spend their vacant on the mini forest and some people who works and needs help,
they are waiting for what they are finding and what they need at the Capitol, that is why the researchers
choose the capitol. The place is peaceful in additional to that the interview will be well conducted.
