The graph compares the number of applications which received by four universities during 1980 to

2010. Those are Atherton University, Alstead University, The University of Lakewood, and Lindslade
College. The Y axis represents the number of the students, and the X one provides the time by year.

Atherton University showed slow rise from 4000 to 4800 during 1980 until 1995, but rised
significantly to reach about 6200 students in 2005, then fell slowly by around 6100 in 2010. The
University of Lakewood showed significant drop from about 4800 to 3300 during 1980 until 1985.
Then the trend dropped slowly to reach 2500 in 2010. Alstead University indicated the high increase
from 2200 to 4000 during 1980 until 1985. The number of students remained constant for 15 years,
then increased significantly to achieve by about 5500 in 2000. However the trend showed significant
decrease in 2005 by about 4500 students, then fell slowy by 4200 in 2010. Lindslade College showed
the fluctuative number of students during 1980 until 2010. The trend indicated the rise and fall
continuously each 5 years.

Based on the graph, it can be concluded that The Atherton University was the highest of students
application by 6100 in 2010 and The University of Lakewood was the lowest by about 2500. The peak
of student applications was in 2005 when Atherton University got 6200 students, and the lowest
point was in 1985 when Lindslade College only earned 1500 students.
