How to add youtube links to Schoology (works for

pages, links, assignments, etc.)

1) Under “Add Resources” select the option you would

like: Page, Link, Assignment, etc.

2) In the box that pops up, type in the title, and select
the “Insert Content” option from the ribbon.
3) Click “Link” in the options that appear.

4) This is the box where we are going to add our

safeyoutube OR viewpure link. Whichever one works
for you.

5) To continue, open a new internet tab to go to

youtube to collect our link.

6) Once at youtube, find the video you want to add to

schoology and copy the link from it.
7) In another tab, open safeyoutube.net or
viewpure.com, and paste your youtube link in.

8) Copy this new url link, this is the sanitized one

without ads or commercials. For viewpure, do not
click the video and copy that link; it will be as if
you never sanitized it. Instead, click and copy the
link from the address bar. This will be the sanitized
link.
9) Paste this new link into our schoology box and name
the link. Click Insert once finished with the link.
Finish up your page, assignment, etc. and don’t
forget to click Submit to save everything
