DNO company

DNO ASA is a Norwegian oil and gas operator focused on the Middle East and the
North Sea. Founded in 1971 and listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, the Company
holds stakes in onshore and offshore licenses at various stages of exploration,
development and production in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, Norway, United
Kingdom, Netherlands, Ireland and Yemen.
Founded in 1971, DNO is Norway’s oldest oil company and the first to list on the
Oslo Stock Exchange in 1981. Initially a North Sea player, our focus over the past
two decades shifted to the Middle East region, home to the world’s most prolific
oil resources. By tapping into its Norwegian heritage and leveraging our regional
footprint, DNO has proven a nimble and successful operator, even in challenging
environments.

In June of 2004, DNO entered into production sharing contracts (PSCs) with the
Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). As one of the first international oil
companies to enter this highly prospective region, DNO holds a pioneering
position in developing the local oil industry. DNO is operator of three PSCs:
Tawke, Dohuk and Erbil. DNO has completed one fast-track field development of
the Tawke field. The capacity at Tawke is 70,000 bopd and the company is
working to increase capacity to 100,000 bopd in near future. DNO's operations in
Kurdistan are managed from its office in Erbil.

The company has also faced many challenges during the time of working in all
places which’s mentioned above, wherever we operate, we look to minimize risk
and maximize success through smart exploration, and, when a discovery is made,
fast-track production. We have developed a best-in-class core competency in the
fractured carbonate plays that are characteristic of the MENA region, beside
challenges there are also many success that the company has been accomplished
they are now the leading international operator in production and reserves in
Kurdistan, one of the world’s remaining largely untapped onshore hydrocarbons
frontiers, They also faced many issues during working in Kurdistan from the time
that ISIS at the begging of 2013 till they have been despaired in Kurdistan which’s
at 2018 during those tight time DNO was doing their work and does not tried to
stop their operation and production of oil , also nowadays because of COVID-19
they are facing new challenges but this time also they haven’t stopped producing
oil but only they have stopped to drill new wells.

DNO has among the lowest finding, development costs of any oil company
anywhere in the world. Combined with low lifting costs, this gives us a significant
competitive advantage when oil prices are weak and strong cash flow when oil
prices are robust.

DNO company they are working to add new field which’s beside extracting oil
they have also planned to treat the gas which’s coming out with oil, which’s good
point instead of burning gas and separating to air they will treat gas and make it
ready for sale or even to being ready to use in houses and in many other staffs.
