Picking Whole Grain Products

Whole grains contain all three parts of the grain. They can reduce the risk of stroke,

type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.

To find whole grains, read your ingredient list and search for the whole grain stamp.

The first word listed should be, "whole," to show the food is a whole grain.

Remember: the 100%

stamp is the best option.

If that is not available,

pick a product with the

second highest % on the

stamp.
