SIMPLIFIED CONFIGURATION OF THE SERVER:

Step 1:
- For Client and Server PC
- Type “TESDA10iligan” for SERVER PC
- Press Windows + Pause Break
- System Properties
- Change name into Server
- Proceed to the CLIENT PC
- Press Windows + Pause Break
- System Properties
- Click change “Workgroup” then click “OK”
- Close
Peer to Peer
- On the SERVER PC, click the Local Area Properties
- Choose IPv4
- Obtain IP
- Select “use the following IP Address”
- 192.168.0.10 for the SERVER PC
- 192.168.0.10 for the DNS SERVER
- 192.168.0.11 for the CLIENT PC
- 192.168.0.10 for the DNS SERVER
- Close
- Start Menu
- Type CMS then press ENTER
- Type “ping then the IP Address of the SERVER PC for the client (ping 192.168.0.10 –t)
- Then on the SERVER PC, Type the IP Address of the CLIENT PC.
- Then press “ENTER”
INSTALL THE ACTIVE DIRECTORY SERVICES (ADDS) SERVER
- Goto Start Menu
- Type “dcpromo”
- Welcome to the Active Directory Domain Services Installation Wizard
- Click “Next” Name the Forest Root Domain (Css.local)
- Click “Next” Forest Functional Level
– Select Windows Server 2008 R2
- Click “Next”
- Next
- Next
- Yes Set Administrator Password (TESDA10iligan)
- Next
- Next
- Check the box Reboot on completion Start Button “Administrative Tool”
- Server Manager
- Click Roles
- Add Roles
- Next
- Click DHCP Server
- File Services
- Print and Document Services
- Next
- Next Validate the IP
- Click on the open network
-Local Connection
- Properties >>> IPv4 >>> Change DNS Server >>> “Ok”, “Close”, “Close”, ”Close”
-Type the IP Address then validate >>> “Next”, “Next”.
- Click Add
-Under Scope name “type your name”
- Starting IP Address 192.168.0.15 ; Ending IP Address 192.168.0.30
- Then click “OK”, then, Disable DHCP
- click “Next”, “Next”, “Next”, “Install”, “Close”
- +Roles
- +ADDS
- +Active Directory Users
- +Css.local
- Right click lang ang Css.local
- click “New” Organizational Unit (OU)
- Type “TCNHS” then click “OK” >>> “New” >>> “User” >>> “Type your name” User log on name type “user1” >>> “Yes”
>>> “Finish”
Start Button
-My Computer >>> Goto Local (D) >>> “New Folder” >>> Rename into data "
- Sharing >>> Share >>> “Add/Everyone/Read & Write”>>> “Done”
- Copy the Network Path >>> “Close”
Start Menu
- Click on Administrative Tool
- Group Policy Management
- +Forest. Css.local
- +Domain
- +css.local /select TCNHS / right click TCNHS
- New GPO
- Type “TCNHSGPO”, >>> click “OK”
- +TCNHS
- Right click TCNHSGPO >>> click “Edit” User Configuration
- +Policies
- +Windows Setting
- +Folder Redirection
- Right click sa Desktop, sa Desktop properties, click “Basic”
- Paste “Network Path” into the Root Path then apply “Yes” Adto dayon sa CLIENT PC
- System Properties >>> Change Member of the “Domain” css.local >> “OK”
-Type Administrator >>> Password “TESDA10Iligan”, then click “OK” Restart the PC, Log in dayon… choose other user
- Type and “user1” >>> Password “abc_123” then press “ENTER” Go back to SERVER PC
- Click Start button
- My Computer >>> Local D >>> Data >>> User1 >>> Desktop
- Click continue, then click security tab >>> Continue >>> then Click Admin
- Apply >>> then “Yes” >>> “Close”
- Click again the Desktop, Click “continue”
- Add Folder, Rename the folder, dapat Makita ang folder sa CLIENT nga desktop.
START button
>>> “Administrative Tool” >>> “Server Manager”
- +Roles
- +DHCP
- +Server.css.local
- +IPv4
- +Scope 192.168.0…
- +Address lease “Makita nimo ang mga IP Address”
Start Menu
>>> open “Goggle Chrome” >>> Type “admin”
- Password “admin” >>> on the URL type the IP Address … mugawas ang TP-Link (you are getting inside the Access Point)
- click “Next”, “Next”, “Next”, change ang wireless name SSID “name nimo”
- click “Next”, “Next”, click “Finish”, then “Ok”
Adto dayon sa LAPTOP
Look for the name in the WIFI >>> then “Connect” Open “Remote Desktop” >>> type and IP Address sa SERVER then wait
-Enter password “TESDA10iligan”, >>> then wait, >>> Click “Yes” Balik sa Server Login >>> then close everything
PRINTER nata
On ang printer nimo, Click Start Menu >>> goto Devices >>> Right click
- then set ang printer nga EPSON L120 as Default.
SHARING nata
>>> Click Share this printer >>> click list in the directory, then close START Menu >>> Administrative Tool >>> Server
Manager >>> +Roles
- +Print and Document Services
- +Print Management - +Custom Filters >>> Right Click “Epson L120” >>> Deploy w/ Group Policy Browse >>> Choose
TCNHS.css.local, then click “OK”
- TCNHSGPO then click “OK” >>> click the 2 check box, then Add, Finish. START Menu >>>cmd >>> type “gpupdate”…
wait…
Adto dayon ka sa CLIENT PC
- START Menu >>> cmd >>> type “gpupdate” … wait…
- START Menu >>> open “paint”, type “your complete name, the training center, date of assessment, time of
assessment, name of your assessor and the word signature
-You may now Print the document
