continue in developing materials that empower people's minds and spirits and
promote education literacy. To fulfill our promises and make an impact to the society.
And to remind the students in Batangas City that a book never loses its knowledge.

Vision
We envision that Mujigae Bookmarks Key Chain to be the best leading supplier
of bookmark key chains in Batangas City.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Mujigae Bookmarks Key Chain is envision by young entrepreneur. We, students


of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management
from University of Batangas, come up to make a unique design of bookmarks key
chain. As part of our fulfillment of the requirements in Entrepreneurial Management,
we are planning to start up this Mujigae Bookmarks Key Chain, a different colors of
string bookmarks with sticky notes and key chain. A bookmark is a thin marker used
to keep a reader's place in a book and to enable them to easily return to it. Reader’s
not only needs to remember the page but also require exact line and the word in the
line. But no such bookmark is available in market or in any book that can provide a
marking on not only page but also to the exact line and word also. So we decided to
make our own way, we add sticky notes that they can write a note or an exact line or
word.

This business will make a contribution to society by helping not only the students
and professor but also the other workers and of course the people who love to read.
If the students, or a professor or a workers want to read a book of how to be an
entrepreneur or how to start a business but they are busy because of their duties,
and they only have a short time to read those books. Our product will help them to
remember or easily return where they stopped reading and easily write a note. And
we know at the right time they will have their own business that also help the society.

We are planning to put our business at University of Batangas located at Hilltop


Rd, Kumintang Ibaba Batangas City, 4200 Batangas. Where it is near to students
and professor because they are our target market. University of Batangas has a lot
of employees and students. Our marketing strategies include Facebook page,
Instagram page, Twitter page and product sampling. Below is the picture of the map
where the target market is in.
Company Story

Mujigae Bookmarks Key Chain is a privately owned of Paulica Shop. Mujigae


means rainbow, we decide to use a different color of string bookmarks to attract our
target market and to be more convenient we add sticky notes and key chain. Sticky
notes, in case they need to write a notes to remember what they want. Paulica Shop
composed of Angelica Corachea and Lara Paula Manrique found possible
opportunities in this business but we want to add something new because normally
the available bookmarks in the market provide marking only the page but readers
also need to remember the exact line or words in the line. Our group conducted a
survey, our target market are very positive with the idea of our business most
especially to the people who loves to read because they said that it will surely helpful
for them. Sharing of thoughts and experience helps us to come up with this kind of
business. Making this business plan as a requirement in this subject may be a
stepping stone to make this business possible and successful.

The Product

Location

We all know that location and product are the two most important parts in a
business. We are planning to put our business at the rental Bldg. of University of
Batangas that is near to our target market.
Operation Hours

We will be open from 8:00AM until 6:00PM, from Monday to Sunday. The
students of University of Batangas have a class until 8:00PM and even Sunday
there’s students who have a class.

Product

Our product is bookmarks that used to keep a reader's place in a book and to


enable them to easily return to it. But we add new things because readers also need
to remember the exact line or words in the line so we add sticky notes that will help
them, not all the readers owned the book they reading so they are not allow to write
in the book itself that’s why our group decide to add a sticky notes.
Inventory Management

Good inventory management can help you track your inventory in real time. It will
help you to easily determine your profits and losses. Our staffs are trained about this,
the process that will do to inventory our stocks and sales is the opening staff will
count first the cash or sales yesterday and inventory the stocks and then when the
closing staff are already in the store it will also count the current sales of opening
staff. By 11:00 am the opening staff will deposit the yesterday sales but before she
leave the store both staff will count the money that will deposit and the current sales.
And when the store is close by 6:00 pm the closing staff will count their sales and
she will also inventory the stocks before she leave the store. Always count the cash
or sales if the staffs are leaving the store to monitor and to avoid shorts. We think
that by this process of inventory we will easily determine and track if there’s a
problem and if we have a profit or losses.

SWOT Analysis
As a young entrepreneur we would like to know the internal and external factors
that will affect to our business. Through thorough research, reading articles and
watching videos related with our business. We were able to realized what are the
pros and cons of putting up this kind business. Since, we are starting this bookmarks
business we needed to familiarize with the operation and planning of the business.
We conducted SWOT analysis to be aware of the strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats of our business. Here are some of the preview of what we
got:

Strengths
 We are students of UB. We can supply our product to the students of UB.
 Good customer relationship. Since, we know a lot of students in our stay in UB.
We consider it as strength because it has an impact in our sales performance.
 Unique business with a unique product. Our product has a unique design and we
believe that it can catch the eyes of our customers.
 We only have one product. We can give a lot of time in selling our product.
 Our product have good features, refreshing designs and also convenient in
taking notes.
 Easy to produce the product. Since it has low cost, our product can be produced
anytime.

Weaknesses
 Not all are interested in reading books. Students can browse easily to the web.
 Limited time of selling.
 Low price means low profit. Low cost. Low risk. Low price. It can give profit but
not too much.
 Bookmarks are outdated. Google is everywhere.

Opportunities
 There are lots of students who goes to the library everyday. We may offer our
product on every students that will enter in the library.
 New customers can recruit another customer to buy our products. Networking is
one of the best ways to gain customers.
 The population of UB is high. We may take this opportunity to sell our products to
hundreds/thousands of students.

Threats
 Fast growth of technology. Google is everywhere, we have limited customers.
 Customer demand. Customers might not want our designs.
 Lack of raw materials. There’s always unexpected events that may happen in the
process of producing our product.
 Customer unawareness of the products. Bookmarks are not popular nowadays.

competitive edge in fast-expanding markets.We will keep an ongoing mindset for our
market as well as our nonmarket strategies. The best opportunities do not occur in
familiar and predictable markets.We will find a way to connect with the social,
economic, and political forces.Rather than assuming that the market will embrace
your products, we can collect real-time feedback and determine whether it is worth
bringing a product to full production or not.

Our Target Market


Target marketing allows you to focus your resources on a specific market that
has the strongest potential to purchase your product or avail of your services. Once
you have determined your business’ products and services, you must identify your
business’ target market. The target market is the actual customer group, or
audience, in which your business will attempt to sell its products and services.
Although it is impossible to capture every customer within your target market,
gearing your services toward the identified market will make sales much easier.
Since we are still studying and our product is bookmark we are targeting the
market of the students of University of Batangas. There are still a lot of students who
loves to read books. We targeting the ones who are using libraries. Students who
are interested in gaining information through books and students who thinks books
are still entertaining.

The source of our income is by selling our products to the students of University
of Batangas. We are aiming to have a sustainable profit by providing our products
with high quality features.

It’s possible that you can’t think of anyone – from a chronic bookworm to a
casual reader – who wouldn’t love a nice, custom bookmark.Every book-lover and
reader likes to remember where they left off in their book reading – and it would be
great to mark and remember it with style.

Naturally, therefore, who would love to have their own custom-made bookmarks,
instead of using a random post-it or piece of paper?

 For bookstores, libraries, and churches.

Naturally, every organization that has a lot to do with books should definitely opt
for personalized bookmarks. Libraries and churches will mostly opt for smaller
marketing budgets and, therefore, this is a great marketing solution for our goals.

 For schools.

Our bookmark serves to present to students for their achievements or simply as


an innovative way to jot down important dates and events for the academic years.
