Trying out “The Happy Organics: Char Clay Purifying Mask” (100% Natural)

Tired of having big pores? Oily skin? Acne? Well, I may have a product I can
recommend for you. I introduce “The Happy Organics: Char Clay Purifying Mask”, which is a
hundred percent made from natural ingredients so you don’t have to worry if it’s full of
chemicals.
I have acquired this product when I went to a beach festival in Lingayen,
Pangasinan. They have food kiosks and the typical bazaar full of souvenirs, pasalubong,
clothing and more. I spotted the stall that’s selling this mask surrounded by cosmetic
products (which I am an avid buyer of). The small booth is selling other products as well
however, I have come to noticed that the theme is all about natural ingredients. Personally,
I stay away from chemically-rich products because I’m afraid of the after effects it will have
on me, especially if it involves my face. So, you could just imagine how giddy I was to
purchase the products.
After a little bit of browsing and conversing with the seller, I have bought a total of
three products. A strawberry & oat body scrub, a deep red lip stain and, you guessed it, the
purifying mask. The first two I bought for the sake of aesthetic appeal, because I have
certain attraction to strawberries. But the last one, I purchased out of curiosity, wondering
if it would work some magic on me.
All the products I got are under just one brand name, The Happy Organics. You may
be wondering, “Can I also avail the product even if I’m not in Lingayen, Pangasinan?” and the
answer is a resounding “Yes!”. The seller informed me that they have a website where you
may order directly, a branch in Metro Manila and a lot of resellers nationwide. So, if by the
end of this article you are interested with their other products go ahead and check out their
online platform.
Now, going back to the mask, I have only started to use it when we got back to the
city. Because I was thinking back then that the air by the beach and sea is much cleaner
than in the city. And what a better way to purify the skin after a day in the polluted streets
of Mega Manila.
A little bit about the product, which I got from the packaging and The Happy
Organics website, is that it’s made with the mixture of Bentonite Clay and Activated
Charcoal. Both of which have the same and different benefits. All in all, the mask’s aim is to
detoxify, fight acne, minimize pores, hydrate and lighten the skin.
Of course, before I started really trying it, I did a little bit of research. It turns out
that both the Bentonite Clay and Activated Charcoal has cleansing properties. As per
MedicalNewsToday said, the bentonite absorbs dirt and when it is washed away all the grit
will come off to. While SpaGoddess describes activated charcoal being one of the best all-
natural pore cleanser out there. To sum that up, they both have been proven to dig deep
into the pores to remove all the impurities and toxins and, as another bonus, exfoliates the
face for a smoother, radiant glow.
More on the product, we go on to packaging and amount. One jar of the purifying
mask contains 50 grams. The product is encased in a glass jar, making it more
environmental-friendly for its recyclability. For me, the simplicity of the packaging is
appreciated. I rather have a concise yet durable case made of glass, and the designs on it
also being minimal, than being over-the-top, colorful plastic container. Not only that The
Happy Organics promotes the use of natural ingredients but also environment conscious
packaging.
Moving on to the experience itself. I started using it before going to sleep or before I
do my make-up. Because the first thing I noticed is that after every use, my skin feels light
and airy. It also feels smooth and looking at the mirror shows a radiant glow. So, whenever
I prep my skin with it before putting on a glam make-up look, it looks more gorgeous. And
when I use it before going to bed, I have that “Beyonce-woke-up-like-this-moment”. Which is
insanely awesome, considering I’ve only been using it for four straight days.
Another thing I noticed is that any acne I might have acquired, somehow smoothens
and disappears after a day or two. When I first started using this I had a small, but still
noticeable pimple on the nose. After I used the char clay mask, the redness of this blemish
lessened. And then after another day of usage, it was completely gone! It was a lifesaver
because at that day I had a big event which I needed to look my best and I did. Thanks to
this wonder mask I’ve got.
The way to applying the mask is to use a generous amount and making sure that the
product is well-distributed. And it is recommended to leave it on for ten minutes and to be
washed off with lukewarm water. The reason for the such temperature is that it will open
up the pores, as explained by an article in Wikihow, and also relaxes the skin. It will surely
help to get rid of the residual oil and dirt that was deeply cleansed by the char clay mask.
Lastly, in order to get the best results is with continuous use and applying a facial oil or
moisturizer after rinsing off.
However, it is worth noting that I do feel a slight tingle when applying it. But as
paranoid as I was, I didn’t remove it immediately. Because I come to find out that it’s both
the bentonite clay and activated charcoal at work. It wasn’t unpleasant at all, just a bit
weird. I didn’t catch any allergic reaction as well, so that means it was just doing its job.
And when I reached the 10th day of using it, my face never looked dull even under
the pressures of stress. My T-Zone has become less oily and not acne-prone anymore and it
feels much hydrated. That’s why I do recommend this for those who have same problem as
me with oiliness and pimples, as well as for those with my same skin type (which is
combination of normal and oily skin). It is worth a try if you’re looking for an all-natural
product that is also affordable, for only a retail price of PhP 200, why not try The Happy
Organics: Char Clay Purifying Mask? And if you’re having other problems, their website
