2G/3G Radio Planning and Optimization having more than 3 years’ experience and worked on
more than 4 years as a RF Optimization Projects internationally including three 3G/HSDPA
Projects in Middle East with working experience on Huawei and Nokia 3G kits and worked on
all major operators including STC and Zain, Performed Pre-and Post-Launch Optimization for
Zain Reload Project Madinah newly launched network and Tune 17 Clusters for 3G/HSDPA
different KPIs.

 Perform the Download and Upload throughput tests on each sector of the site and make
sure to get maximum achievable DL &UL speeds at the best point of each cell.
 Perform coverage optimization by altering antenna down-tilts (Electrical + Mechanical)
or azimuths to ensure better coverage around sites.
 Identification of coverage holes in the area of interest based on Customer complaints.
 Post processing drive test data for Analysis & Optimization of live 3G Network. Diagnose
all RF related problems such as Interference, call quality, Drop calls, HO failure, Missing
neighbors, Power, Abnormal releases, Cross feeder etc.
 In Depth analysis of the sudden drops calls for second carrier logs form drive test data
and recommending the necessary changes, Analyzing Inter system neighboring plans
(carrier 1 and carrier2) and rectifying 3G to 2G hard handover failures.
 Preparing the Cluster Optimization report with different plots and give suggestions for
reducing Pilot Pollution, Antenna Azimuths or Tilt changes, Neighbors list modification
 by adding detected neighbors and removing unnecessary neighbors, SC Clashes in
neighbor list.
 Traffic Analysis & Performance Management of existing network using various key
performance indicators.
 Complete cluster optimization & generating report on drop calls, handover failure, and
abnormal disconnection in Soft/Softer Handover.
 System parameter optimization. Antenna Tilt issues and designs Optimization.
Scrambling Codes (SC) and Neighbors (NCELL) planning for 3G sites. Optimization and
Recommendation for UMTS network to improve poor Performance area and coverage
holes.
 Prepare and release Optimization Report for the assigned area, Presenting over all view
of performance, fault and coverage issues. Proper Co-ordination with other Depts. for
any hardware changes like Change of Antenna, Tilt & Azimuth as a part of
Recommendation · Proper Co-ordination with other departments like NOC, Field service
on the basis of daily performance statistics and network availability.

Establishing and analyzing the requirements of 2G/3G solution. 

• Planning and executing tasks to optimize LTE RF Clusters in the customer’s network.
Coordinating with DT Teams for completing daily, weekly and monthly tasks given by RNO.
• Preparing the DT analysis report using Actix and mapinfo.
• Coordinating with RNO for inconsistency checks, areas with poor rf performance, throughput
& physical changes. Identified causes of poor coverage.
• Checking the missing neighbors and suggesting to add the neighbors with the cells.
