B. God’s Vision for a Woman

Titus 2: 3-5 KJV

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not
given to much wine, teachers of good things;

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word
of God be not blasphemed.

▪ God sees a woman as His creation of great treasure and declares:

✓ You are a fruitful woman, a “mother of all living”, designed and resourced to give birth to life, not to
death (Genesis 3:20).

✓ You are like a tree planted by the rivers of water (Psalm 1:3).

✓ You bear fruit in every season you find yourself in along your life’s journey, prospering in whatsoever
you do. (Psalm 1:3)

✓ You are far more precious than rubies. (Proverbs 31:10)

C. The Root of the Woman’s Problems

The devil, however, has a 3-fold, cradle-to-the-grave mission where he seeks, at every slightest
opportunity, to destroy that treasure – your seed – the fruitfulness and productivity that God packaged
in you.

2 Corinthians 2:11 ESV & NLT

Therefore, understand the devil’s strategy and devices, so that you are “not outwitted by Satan” nor
remain ignorant of his evil schemes.

Genesis 3:15 – 16 NKJV

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall
bruise (crush – NIV) your head, and you shall bruise His heel. To the woman He said: I will greatly
multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be to
your husband, and he shall rule over you.”

Revelation 12:1-6
A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a
crown (garland) of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about
to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and
ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them
to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might
devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all
the nations with an iron sceptre.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman
fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260
days.

The root of a woman’s problems is the DEVIL himself – he is the enemy. Most women mistakenly
made man, environment or circumstances the root of their problems and spend their whole lives
fighting the wrong enemy.

E. Broad Strategic Battles the Devil Wages Against You

Exodus 23: 28 (NKJV)
“And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite,
from before you.”

− Villagers. The name Hivite is interpreted as "midlanders" or "villagers"
− Hivites were “dwellers in low places”. These represent people of low expectation, low dreams, low
vision, low self-esteem, small-talk, cheap thinking, belittling people, inferiority complex,
village/consensus mentality

▪ Battle of the Canaanites

− Canaanites were zealous merchants, given to commerce
− These represent establishments, systems, cultures and traditions that oppose or undermine your
prosperity, your productivity, your enterprise

▪ Battle of the Hittites

− Hittites were warriors, militant people, highly trained and very skilled fighters
− These represent terror, fear, torment; aggressive people and situations, wicked and unreasonable
people (2 Thessalonians 3:2)
