Training of Trainers (ToT) Course

Course Aim: To develop a pool of trained facilitators that could be tapped to

facilitate and deliver UN-CMCoord Courses around the world.

Participants:
Target Audience: The course will gather potential UN-CMCoord course facilitators
who satisfy the following criteria:

 At least five years of experience in natural disasters and

complex emergencies or both, including experience working
with military and humanitarian actors in humanitarian
emergencies;
 Completion of a UN-CMCoord Course;
 Fluency in oral and written English; fluency in other UN
languages is an asset;
 Experience as an HAO/CMCoord is an asset;
 Experience in course development is an asset;
 Experience in facilitating international training events is an
asset; and,
 Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent)
is an asset.

Duration: 4 days (starts Sunday evening and ends Thursday evening)

Frequency: Twice a year
