    1. Which usage should you choose for BOM creation?

    Always ‘Maintenance’, that is to say ‘4’.


    2. What item category should you declare for the elements of this BOM?

    This is not important because the OLM module will anyway overwrite the value of the
    material master record. Always enter “L” for each component.
    3. How can you retrieve the components of your BOM?

    By using the matchcode of the “Component” field of the “Material” tab.
