detailed testing. The best candidates will be invited for an


interview with one of our hiring managers.

The five testing steps are:

BFQ
Basic Fit Questions
Basic questions to determine the fitness of a candidate based on their prior
professional experience.
CCAT
Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test
A 15-minute intelligence and aptitude test, consisting of 50 questions in logic, math,
verbal ability, and spatial reasoning.
English
English Assessment
2-minute, quick audio recording in English to evaluate a candidate's communication
skills.
SMQ
Subject Matter Expert Questions
Multiple choice questions to test a candidate's domain expertise in the role they are
applying to.
FRQ
Free Response Questions
Project-based, "real-life" scenario tests that allow a candidate to showcase their
creativity and problem-solving skills with a tangible work sample.

A comprehensive evaluation of the application will be made after


the interview, and successful candidates will be sent an offer to
join Crossover immediately or will be invited to join the
Crossover Talent Marketplace.

The Marketplace is where hiring managers can review and


handpick potential candidates who have passed the screening
process to request an online interview. You are not guaranteed to
get an interview if you are in the Marketplace. If you do get an
interview and your interview is successful you may be offered a
full-time role.

For certain job roles, candidates are selected and invited to


attend a paid 30-day Remote University training program. The
goal of the program is to have top candidates aligned to the
Crossover culture, fully trained, and ready to start work. Once
the training program is complete, Remote University graduates
are placed directly into a role with one of Crossover’s client
companies.
