Level B2 in the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of
Reference. Pass at Grade A 180 — 190
Pass at Grade B 173 — 179
Candidates achieving Grade A (between 180 and 190 on the
Cambridge English Scale) receive the First Certificate in English Pass at Grade C 160 — 172
stating that they have demonstrated ability at Level C1. Candidates Level B1 140 — 159
