Q. 1. Write short notes on any ONE of the following masters of the Bauhaus School. Kindly
provide appropriate images/sketches wherever necessary.
i) Moholy Nagy and his contribution to the field of graphic design
ii) Herbert Bayer and the “typeface”

Q. 2. Explain briefly how “Expositions” became a powerful platform for genesis of ideas during
the Early Modern Art Movement.

Q. 3. What do you mean by the term “Neoclassicism”? Describe the main reasons behind the
rising popularity of this new kind of art and being adopted by the society, during the prevailing
Baroque and Rococo movement of the 18th century.

Q.4. Provide a short description about any ONE of the following art movement through the lens
of any of its pioneering artists.
i) Art Nouveau
ii) Symbolism

Analyze the social and cultural changes that were the genesis of a different kind of artistic
movement.
