Different people’s opinion

What is the difference between a rule and a law?

My opinion
A law is stricter and is made by high authority like the
government, rules are less serious and can be made by
anyone, a law’s consequences are much bigger like going to
prison or getting a fine et cetera. Basically, rules are laws but
just less serious.
My mum’s opinion
Anybody can make a rule but laws have to go through a
process to become one.
One of my sister’s Opinion
A law is enforced by a governing body and a rule is enforced
by people who aren’t the government.
Mrs Ratu’s (my teacher) opinion
The main differences between a rule and a law are the
consequences and who enforces them. Rules exist everywhere
including our homes and our classrooms. Laws are more
prominent in the wider society and are often related to groups
of people not individuals.
A friend’s opinion
The difference between a rule and a law is that laws have
bigger consequences and are stricter.
