OUcampus – Creating an Image from a Single Page PDF

1) Open the Adobe Acrobat Pro program.

2) On the top left menu bar, click File> Open and browse in the popup window to find
the PDF file you would like to open. Select the file and click the Open button.

3) To save the file as a JPEG, click File> Save As Other> Image> JPEG.

In the pop-up window, navigate to the folder where you would like to save your file,
name your file and click Save.

1) Open the Adobe Acrobat Pro program.

2) On the top left menu bar, click File> Open and browse in the popup window to find
the PDF file you would like to open. Select the file and click the Open button.

3) If your pdf is a multiple page file and you want to create an image from only one of the
pages, you must first extract that page to a new file window. To extract a single page,
expand the Page Thumbnails Menu on the left side of the window by clicking
the arrow next to the Page Thumbnails Icon.

Right click on a Page Thumbnail and drag down to Extract Pages from the popup
menu. Designate the page range of the page that you would like to be extracted into a
new window and click OK. (Example: If the first page is the only page you want, you
would type From: 1 To: 1. If you only want the second page, type From: 2 To: 2, etc.)
4) A new window will open with the extracted page. From this new window, save the
extracted page as a JPEG by clicking File> Save As Other> Image> JPEG.

In the pop-up window, navigate to the folder where you would like to save your file,
name your file and click Save.
