3. In a study of the conversion of methane to other fuels, an analytical chemist, working at


the Pharmaceutical Chemistry laboratories mixes gaseous methane and water in a 3.2 x
105 μL flask at 1200K. At equilibrium, the flask contains 2.6 x 102 mmol CO, 91 mmol H2
and 41 mmol CH4.
