HOLLOW-CORE SLABS:
A hollow core slab is a precast slab of
pre-stressed concrete typically used in
the construction of floors in multi-story
different types of buildings.
The slabs have between four and eight
longitudinal cores running through
them, the primary purpose of the cores
being to decrease the weight, and
material within the floor, yet maintain
maximal strength. To further increase
the strength, the slabs are reinforced
with 12.7mm diameter low-relaxation
steel strand, running longitudinally.

normalized at 1200mm wide with
tolerance of 0 to - 3mm and up to 20
meters long. Height goes from 160 up to
500mm. Special widths and cut-outs
can also be made under certain
conditions.
