The Shopping Trip

PART A

C'est 1a fête à la maison Leboeuf à 1'occasion des fîançailles de Catherine, I'ainée des filles.
Sessoeurs,Anne,ClaudetteetBrigitteétaienttrèsjoyeuses. Trèstôtsamedimatin,lessoeurssortenten
autobusendirectiondelaville. Ellesvoulaientacheterunenouvelletenuepourlerepasdecesoir-làavec
lesparentsdeLuc,lefîancédeleursoeur. Brigitte,lapluspetite,savaitdéjàcequ'elleporterait-unjean
et un blouson en cuir. A dix ans, elle était fort intéressée à la mode.

PART B

Il faisait frais, mais selon lamétéo, ilpleuvrait 1'après-midi. Les filles ontvite trouvé des vêtements,
sauf Brigitte, et Anne commençait à s'irriter à cause d'elle. Maman avait dit de rentrer avant qtatotze
heures et le temps passait, mais la petite fille ne pouvait rien trouver à son goût. Enfin, Anne a pris la
décision d'abandonner et elles sont montées dans le bus àtreize heures trente. Pendant que le bus sortait
delagare,ClaudetteaobservéqueBrigitten'étaitpasavecelles. Terrifiées,lesfîllesétaientsurlepoint
de descendre quand elles ont vu Brigitte dehors. La petite fille avait enfin trouvé son blouson dans une
boutique en face de la gare.
