Kent loves fruits. He has a fruit plantation with different kinds of fruits. He has bananas, guavas,
pineapple and avocados. He counted his fruits every time he visit them. He has 15 bananas, 25
That night, he drew his plants. He drew 1 banana for 5 bananas. 1 guava for every 5 guavas, 1
Modeling
Let us count the number of fruits that Kent has. Remember that each fruit represents 5.
5+5+5= 15 or 5x3=15
Let’s continue.

Patrick, Emily, Willy, Janet and Kevin planted bananas. Look at the pictograph below to
see how many bananas had grown. Answer the following questions posted in the monitor.

Susan, Carlos, Malou, Edgar and Anita planted pineapple. Look at the pictograph below
