    BILL SALMON

    ASSISTANT CHIEF, OPERATIONS AND TRAINING


    Bill joined Boulder Rural Fire Rescue in October, 2013, after 27 years with Poudre Fire Authority.  Bill is married to
    Jane, with five children who are grown and producing grandchildren for them to enjoy.  He enjoys the
    opportunities which Colorado offers for bicycling, motorcycling, and outdoor activities.

    Bill now serves the citizens of the Boulder Rural as our Chief of Operations and Training.  He has earned both a
    Bachelor of Science in Business and a Masters of Education.  Bill brings operational knowledge from PFA and from
    his work with Mexican fire departments on the Yucatan Peninsula.  He has maintained a home in Cozumel, Mexico
    since 1995, and visits often to assist the fire departments in the area.  Bill is committed to serving in Boulder
    County, and his door is always open to anyone wishing to know more about Boulder Rural Fire Rescue.
