Bahco 8071 crescent wrench


The Bahco 8071 crescent wrench is a sturdy, heat treated, anti-corrosion treated and
highly rated crescent wrench. A crescent wrench is an adjustable wrench designed to
grip hexagonal nuts, with an adjusting screw fitted in the crescent-shaped head of the
wrench. Its main components are the fixed jaw, adjustable jaw, handle and worm screw.

 Handle: The longest part of crescent wrench that you use to grip on to when
loosening or tightening nuts the handle will vary in length to help with leverage
and usability in small spaces.
 Fixed jaw: The fixed jaw is part of the handle and won’t move, it is made to be
very sturdy to and take more force then the adjustable jaw and allows you to
untighten very tight things and tighten things with a lot of force.
 Adjustable jaw: The adjustable jaw allows you to change the size of the opening,
allowing you to grip on too many different sizes of nuts with only one tool.
 Worm screw: The worm screw is what allows you to move the adjustable jaw
smoothly, easily and tightly by spinning it to adjust the gap so you can quickly and
easily switch between sizes.
