Subject: Forest Fire Protection Campaign

Hello,

I hope you are all doing well. I would like to propose launching a new curriculum that would
educate children on the impact of forest fires and how they can play a role in preventing them.
The Environmental Defense Fund currently has no ad campaign in place that is specifically
targeted at younger children. It is integral young children are taught this material because it will
stay with them for the rest of their lives and hopefully diminish the number of forest fires in the
future. If we do not, the forest fire dilemma will continue to plague forests all over the world for
generations to come.

In order to accomplish this, we must discuss exactly what material should be taught to children
so that they have a true and real understanding of the problem as well as have clear and concise
steps on how to prevent forest fires. We must also discuss how the material could be presented
so that young children could understand it thoroughly. I would like to set up a meeting early
next week in order to accomplish this.
