EVALUATION:

*BASIC EMPLOYEE INFORMATION: This form consists of basic employee of information such as
Employee`s full name , designation, date of joining, place of joining, segment and employee
code.

ACCOUNTABILITIES, OBJECTIVES AND STANDARDS: This form doesn`t have accountability ,


objectives and standards because the description and name of each accountability, objectives
agreed upon by manager and employee and the extent to which the objectives have achieved is
not mentioned.

COMPETENCIES AND INDICATORS: Thecompetencies needed for the position are listed , but the
behavioral indicators to look for evaluate the presence of the competency are not.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS: An element of Goals achievement is mentioned


in this form upon which the indivisual being rated during the review period.

DEVELOPMENTAL ACHIEVEMENTS: This form excludes the developmental goals set for the
review period because it is often difficult for employees to focus constructively on develpoment
al goals and and achievements.

DEVELOPMENTAL NEEDS, PLANS, AND GOALS: This section doesn`t include the future oriented
information about specific goals and timetables in terms of employee development.

STAKEHOLDER INPUT: This section is mentioned in the form of section of Comments by


Supervisor in which supervisor has firsthand knowledge of and are affected by the employee`s
performance.

EMPLOYEE COMMENTS: This section includes reactions and comments provided by the
employee being rated which is mentioned in this form and the employee also participate in the
evaluation process.

SIGNATURES: This form includes the section of signature of employee and supervisors.
DESIRABLE FEATURES IN APPRAISAL FORM:

SIMPLICITY: This form is simple, easy to administer , clear , and concise.

RELEVANCY: This form is relevant in all informations that includes the personal information,
personal qualification and performance ,elements of quality and achievement which is effective
in review period.

DESCRIPTIVENESS: This form is not sufficiently descriptive as it doesn`t clear understanding of


the performance information conveyed.

ADAPTIBLITY: This form doesn`t include the feature of Adaptibilty.

COMPREHENSIVENESS: This form doesn`t inlclude the all the major areas of performance for a
particular position for the entire review period.

DEFINITIONAL CLARITY: No definitional clarity is mentioned in the form , No results are clearly
defined for all raters so that everyone evaluates the same attributes .

COMMUNICATION : No meaning of any of the component and feature is communicated to all


people participating in the evaluation process. Since the competencies are not defined , it
would be hard to explain the process to all stakeholders.

TIME ORIENTATION: Finally, the form makes no mention of time, so it doesn`t focus on past or
future expectations.
