1. The competitive advantage that the University of Cebu possess is that UC strive for
affordable prices. UC is open to all students especially to those students who can’t afford
tuition. Despite for being affordable, UC have a quantity education that molds the students
to be socially responsive and responsible. UC implements the “no tuition fee increase”
policy. Under this policy, “the applicable tuition fee on a student’s first year of studies shall
remain until his or her fourth year in UC.” The university also has a number of scholarships
to those who students that supports their self and also to lessen the tuition fees.

2. I believe that the internet will have a negative impact on universities and colleges within the next five
years. The reason why I believe that is because the internet has so much more to offer than universities
and colleges. The internet has competitive advantages over educational institution. The internet reduces
communication cost, enhances communication and coordination, Accelerates the distribution of the
knowledge, and much more. It’s been an ongoing debate with online schooling and physical universities.
Universities offer diversity and meeting people from all over the world, also hands on experience. While
the internet reduces cost, and it gives students much more flexibility. Of course that's if we are looking
at online universities and physical universities.
