PUROK NANGKA

Date: July 31-August 11, 2019

Venue: Pooc Covered Court, Santa Fe, Cebu

Rationale:
President Duterte through various pronouncements enjoined all Government Officials
especially Barangay Officials to do their part in succesfully curbing illegal drug abuse in the
Philippines. As such, Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Pooc decided to incorporate
promoting Sports in liue of using illegal drugs as one of its priority programs in the Barangay.
Sports especially Basketball Competitions are not only an avenue for developing
sportsmanship and camaraderie but also the perfect avenue for the youth to gather, unite and
be empowered to get rid of using illegal drugs.

Objectives:
1. To promote Sports activities and get rid of using illegal drugs
2. To develop and explore talents among the youth.
3. Ensure a wider participation of the youth in community-based activities.

Winners:
13 Years Old and Below Division: 14 Years Old to 18 Years Old Division:
First: CAVS SNIPER SNIPER WAMPIPTY
Second : T.B.O. STA. ROSA
Third : PUROK MANGGA T.B.O.

18 Years Old Above Interblock Division:

First: SVF
Second: SELECTION
Third: SAN ROQUE
