Dear Hank Uzzell

I hope that you are staying safe during this pandemic. As you know many places have been closed to the
public and this goes for the Australian Zoo as well. We would like to take advantage of this mandatory
closer to the public and begin construction on updates to the Zoo.

It has recently been brought to my attention that one of the crocodile exhibits at the zoo will need to be
renovated soon. The exhibit was originally built in 1985 when the crocodile Juergen was first brought to
the zoo. Since then not only has the park become more popular with the number of guests increase
each passing year but, the crocodile has continued to grow to an extraordinarily large size and will
continue to grow.

Here at the Australian Zoo, we think now that the park is closed, now is the best time to start working
on updating the enclosure. As chairman of the board, we would like your support in getting this project
started. At this stage in the process we need the board’s approval for the proposed renovations.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are looking forward to hearing the board’s
decision and hope that we can count on your support.

Thank you,

Ethan Cuttill
