Epitome of a Modern Nurse

Since then, until now, nurses play vital roles in delivering health care. We all know
that there are no other health care workers who have such a broad and far-reaching role,
such as advocate for educating the patients about the prevention of illnesses, promoting
health care, providing care, assistance and support.
The modern nursing care and contemporary nursing care are almost similar, but
modern nursing care has much more advanced and more helpful in giving holistic care to
patients. Modern nursing care allows nurses to do their job more effectively and more
efficiently. With this kind of nursing care, nurses are not only taking care of the patient
but also administering the care plan, tracking the progress, recording the vital statistics,
administering medication, making much more effective health care treatment, and
monitoring the diet. Many elements of modern nursing care can help the patient to
recover or maintain their good health.
In modern nursing care, nurses monitor and often administer the correct diet of every
patient, depending on their situations. For example, pending surgery or after the surgery,
nurses dictate a particular diet for patients to ensure their health because a correct diet
can save lives, improve their health, and reduce the risk of complications. Also, in
modern nursing care, record keeping is a crucial role. It is an essential, regular, and
accurate note taken towards the patient; it includes vital signs such as pulse rate, blood
pressure, and temperature. This may also be expanded information depending on the
condition of the patient. In this kind of nursing care, nurses can also administer
medication based on the advice of the physician. It is also the nurses' responsibility to
ensure accurate reporting of their patients' records to analyze the effectiveness of the
treatment and to implement more effective health care plans.
