CONSOLIDATED GUIDELINES FOR ENTRY OF NON

RESIDENTS IN DUO HARMONY RESIDENCES

Entry of non residents/guests was restricted since the lockdown started in March 2020.
Now with the opening of lockdown by Government and revised guidelines given by
them, DHAOA would like to put forward consolidate guidelines for the entry of non-
residents inside Duo Harmony Residences. Please find below the revised Guidelines:

Category A- Domestic Help

No change in the guidelines released on May 6, 2020

Category B- Family Members-

This includes Parents/Children/Spouse/Fiancee/Siblings of the Residents
Close family members will be generally allowed entry without restrictions. Resident
needs to inform Manager 1 day in advance and provide details of address from where
the members are coming. Their addresses should be in the non containment zones. We
will use the update continment zone list as provided by Givernment from time to time.
Please note that all other guests/visitors/friends will not be allowed entry.

Category C- Drivers/Car Cleaners/Ironing Person

No change from the existing guideline, Drivers, car cleaners and ironing lady will
continue to work from the basement and will not go to the individual houses for any
purpose.

Category D- Carpenter/IT Repair/Mechanic/Plumber/ Electrician

Resident needs to inform manager about the address of the mechanic atleast 6 hours in
advance of the visit. Persons coming from containment zones will be barred entry.

Category E- House Relocation

House relocation & movement is allowed with strict controls. Resident moving out or
prospective resident moving in, will have to inform the manager in advance and provide
details of the relocaters and their address proofs two days in advance. It may be noted
that the truck will be allowed only till the Garbage Dump. Persons coming from
containment zones will be barred entry.

Category F- Food/Grocery/Courier Persons

All the delivery persons from Swiggy/Zomato/Big Basket/Local Shops etc. will have to
drop their consignment at Securty Gate. Incase any residents want the delivery person
to come till their door step, then a penalty of Rs.100/- per trip will be charged from the
residents. The penalty is being charged only to demotivate movement of external
persons, but at the same time providing the convenience to residents in exceptional
cases.
In the specific case of a delivery of large item like Refrigerator/Washing
Machine/Furniture etc, which may need the delivery person/mechanic to enter resident's
house, address proof of delivery persons/Mechanic needs to be given to the Manager 2
days in advance. Such persons coming from containment zones will be barred entry.

*Category G- Residents Returning from Other States

Home Quarantine procedure as notified by the Government of Karnataka would need to
be followed. Residents need to be updated on the extant government guidelines on
home quarantine, this is very important to avoid any issues at the time of coming to the
Apartment. Residents are allowed rehiring of their Domestic Helps only after 7 days of
coming back to Duo Residencies.

*Category H- Residents Returning from within Karnataka

There is no restriction on residents returning from within karnataka and from a non
containment zone. Before their arrival residents need to inform their arrival date 2 days
in advance and provide the address from where they are returning. Residents coming
from containment zones will be barred entry. The rules of Government of Karnataka will
prevail over our guidelines at all times. Residents are allowed rehiring of their Domestic
Helps only after 7 days of coming back to Duo Residencies.
*Clause about domestic help not applicable if the family of resident was already staying at Duo
Residences.

Category I- Major House Work

Minor critical repair work may be carried out following guidelines given for category D,
however residents are requested to advance/postpone all other major work by another
2/3 months.

Category J- Tutors/Trainers etc.

No incremental external trainers/Tutors are allowed till further notice.

Category K- Nurses/Healthcare support

No restrictions on the entry of above category of helps if the same are coming from non
containment zone. Resident needs to provide the address proof of the help 1 day in
advance to the manager.

General Procedure applicable for all visitors at the Entry Gate-

The visitors/non-residents should report to security & the following checkin procedure is
to be completed before they are permitted to enter the building
• Temperature Check via IR thermometer – to be done by Duo security at the
gate
• Sanitize the hands with Hand sanitizer before entry.
• Face Masks to be worn before entering the gate.
• Visitors to wash their respective feet/foot wear before entering the
premises. Diluted Dettol water will be provided for the same.

All the residents including MC members are requested to adhere to the above
norms and not request for incremental waivers and exceptions. These guidelines
are for the current situation and may be revised periodically to take care of extant
situation.
