colourful fabrics and accessories. Stop off at Paranthe Walli Galli for some handmade stuffed
Indian flatbreads and on to the aromatic spice market where you might like to pick up a fragrant
reminder of your time in India. The perfect way to experience the alleys and bustling streets of Old
Delhi. On Sundays the tours focus on history, heritage and food since most markets in Old Delhi
remain closed.

architectural relics; spanning the glorious Delhi Sultanate, the Mughal Empire, the British Raj and
more. Learn from your guide about Balban's Tomb; the final resting place of a celebrated ruler of
the Delhi Sultanate, which was only discovered in the 20th century; the mosque and tomb of Jamali
Kamali: a Sufi saint and an unidentified person laid to rest together; Quli Khan's tomb: a stunning
piece of Mughal architecture that was bought in the 19th century by the British civil servant Thomas
Metcalfe and converted into his summer residence, and the well preserved stepwell: Rajon Ki Baoli.
