1. INTRODUCTION
The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, packaging and supply of Dosing
Pumps for the Phu Kham Copper Gold Project located on Xaisomboun Special District,
Laos. The Dosing Pumps shall comply with this Technical Specification, the Engineering
Specifications and the Schedules as specified in the Contract.

2. WORK INCLUDED

The scope of work shall include, but shall not necessarily be limited to the following:
a) Supply of Dosing Pumps as specified herein, to suit their corresponding duties as
specified in 1575-DS-028 data sheets, including the following:

28-PU-061 Collector Dosing Pump No. 2

28-PU-062 Collector Dosing Pump No. 3

28-PU-063 Collector Dosing Pump No. 4

28-PU-064 Collector Dosing Pump No. 5

28-PU-070 Frother Dosing Pump No.1

b) Shop assembly.
c) Surface protection and painting.
d) Packaging and temporary support of all supplied equipment, suitable for road and
sea transport to site in accordance with all relevant statutory regulations and
suitable for storage in exposed conditions.
e) All ancillary items normally supplied with or required to adjust and maintain all
components associated with the equipment.
f) All fasteners, gaskets and any other items necessary for site assembly.
g) Supply of all documentation as required by the Schedule of Supplier Data.
h) Provision of qualified personnel for supervision of equipment erection,
commissioning, post commissioning servicing and operator training shall be at
the Purchaser’s request and charged according to a schedule of rates provided
with the Tender.

3. WORK EXCLUDED

The following items are excluded from the scope of work:

a) Delivery of all supplied equipment to site.
b) Unloading and storage.
c) Installation at site.
d) Foundations and or support structure.
e) Hold-down bolts, nuts and washers at concrete foundations / structural steel.
f) First fill of lubricants.
g) Supply and installation of control devices and motor starters.
h) Supply, installation and connection of all power, control and instrumentation
cabling outside the battery limits.
i) Supply, installation and testing of all piping outside the battery limits.

4. BATTERY LIMITS
The Works covered by this Specification extend up to, and include, the following Battery
Limits:
a) Underside of pump base frames and baseplates.
b) Pump inlet and outlet flanges.
c) Gland flushing water inlet connection (if required).
d) Electrical terminal boxes.
