—— Local Area Controls: Describes the provision of local control panels that permit
the hotel staff (and in some instances, the guest) to control specific features and
aspects of the audiovisual systems, or the space’s environmental elements.
The goal for accommodating basic AV services for business meetings is a Clean
Room approach, where voice reinforcement, program audio reproduction and a
single visual display for computer or DVD sourced presentations is accommodated
with built-in systems. This means that no portable AV equipment would be needed
to support basic business presentations.
