Current Situation

Most of the people especially the bottom of the pyramid wants to earn a respectable living. Even if they
have the skill and intent to do that, they face many problems and which tops the chart is the initial
capital requirement, this is majorly because most of the big banks ignore them and low penetration of
small finances bank. Then comes NGO which helps these aspiring people to realize their aim via
crowdsourcing, loans, community services etc. but these techniques are inefficient due to 2 basic
reasons 1) Motivation of Investor what they are getting in return 2) Customers for the individual who
requires initial capital 3) Self-respect of fund raiser

But what if I say your invested money will come back in form of services from the fund raiser. This is
solving 2 problems deferred customers and interest free loans for the fundraiser and motivation of
investment and services for the investor. For ex if a farmer who is verified by a local NGO is needing
seeds for his harvest or pesticides, he can crowd sourced the money needed for the same and then in
return give the yield to the people back worth the invested at a comfortable time.

Our Solution

We envisage a solution which will make use of smart contract and blockchain technology for
implementation. This will be a platform for all the NGO who is involved in helping the people who face
the capital crisis to start and the investors who wants to help them in exchange of their deferred
services

For example if a licensed aspiring street vendor want to start a fruit shop at a particular location and he
needs an initial capital lets say Rs 20000 the registered NGO’s on our platform can help the individual
and look for his documents ,license , identity proof etc. and the same to be uploaded on the
app/platform and a service request with the corresponding details of the individual, location,
requirement is broadcasted to all the users of the platform, as and when a particular investor invests a
smart contract is created between a vendor and the investor which have certain information regarding
the redemption of services at a deferred date, value of contract etc.

Similarly, it can be applied to many different use cases like an aspiring person who wants to setup a
laundry shop, an aspiring farmer etc.

This can further be integrated with government giving tax rebate to the investor.

Benefits

1) Motivated Investor
2) Transparency in the system
3) One stop platform
4) Customer acquisition for the fundraiser
5) Giving back in form of services
Getting a call for loan each day is a new normal for all of us but what about the people who really
need it. Most of the big banks ignore the bottom of the pyramid individuals and if some small finance
bank does the penetration is abysmally bad.

Which generally tends to inclination of these bottom of the pyramid individuals to go to an informal
lending which ultimately leads to a vicious circle of interest repayment without any proofs.

This happens with a small farmer, a small street vendor an aspirational skilled worker etc. Many NGO
are working on crowdsourcing funds for these individuals like Milaap, Impact Guru, Ketto etc. But
what if I say your crowdfunded money will come back in form of services from the fund raiser. This is
solving 2 problems deferred customers and interest free loans for the fundraiser and motivation of
investment and services for the investor. For ex if a farmer who is verified by a local NGO is needing
seeds for his harvest or pesticides, he can crowd sourced the money needed for the same and then in
return give the yield to the people back worth the invested at a comfortable time.
