1. Explore the Microsoft Paint application.


OBJECTIVES
2. Identify and describe the parts of the Microsoft Paint application.

3. Value the importance of using the Paint application.


TOPIC UNIT 2- Lesson 1: Opening and Closing the Microsoft Paint and Lesson 2: Exploring the Microsoft Paint Environment

MATERIALS Book, Laptop/ Desktop Computer, Powerpoint presentation, Microsoft Paint Application.

B. Analysis

 The teacher will show a drawing in the computer and let them think how it is being drawn.

C. Abstraction
 Demonstrating how to access the Microsoft Paint application and also giving details on the parts of the application.

D. Activity

 Each student will practice opening and closing the Microsoft Paint application.

E. Application

 The class will go to the computer laboratory. They are going to explore the application and draw their house.

 The teacher will let the students analyze on how to make document using a computer. They might be thinking on the
different tools.
C. Abstraction
 The teacher will discuss the parts of the Ribbon Toolbar.
D. Activity
 Peer activity. Each pair will use the computer, and practice using the Microsoft word through opening, minimizing,
maximizing and closing the window.
E. Application
 The class will visit the Computer Laboratory and will use a computer. Each student will type their types in five lines.
EVALUATION The students will answer Quiz 2.3

 Students will practice adding SmartArt using the Microsoft Word application.

 All students will go to the computer laboratory and pair with a classmate. Each pair will use the Microsoft Word

Application and SmartArt shapes. As an output, they will make a family tree.
EVALUATION Formative Test. They are going to answer the book on pages 91 and 100.

 The teacher will discuss the HTML and JavaScript Forms.

 Presentation of the subject matter using Powerpoint. Each pair will brainstorm on the given program. They are going to
identify the errors or complete the codes of the program.
E. Application
 Peer Activity. Each pair will create a simple registration form using Javascript.

 Presentation of the subject matter using Powerpoint. Each pair will brainstorm on the given program. They are going to
identify the errors or complete the codes of the program.
E. Application
 The class will use the computer laboratory. Each pair will have a hands-on experience in creating an HTML webpage
with Javascript to make it a Dynamic webpage.

 The class will go to the computer laboratory. Each pair will make a simple program with the utilization of the forms and
controls in Visual Basic Application.
