PHILOSOPHY

A. Program Goals
BTTE prepares prospective technical teacher who are
1. Highly competent technical teacher in the field of specialization
2. Effective agents for social, economic, political and cultural transformation of our Filipino youth.
3. Use appropriate and innovative pedagogy that would develop independent, creative, critical, values-oriented lifelong learning
4. Display high standard of professionalism and teacher’s code of conduct.

Institutional Intended Learning Outcomes:


1. Introduce new ideas, related to the renewable energy which will lead to conservation of natural resources.
2. Develop a training plan that would serve as guide to sustain food security and for poverty alleviation.
3. Exhibit entrepreneurial skills in various field of endeavor.
4. Demonstrate clear understanding of the perspective of research processes.
5. Analyze problem concerning environmental degradation.
6. Produce creative outputs for possible patentable research subjects.
7. Widen the positive reception of the role that research plays in education and industries.

Course Description :

This course serves as an introduction to computers as data processing tools. Topics included are the capabilities and limitation of
computers classification of computers, components of a computer system (hardware and software). This also covers the computer software systems
methodology, computer theory, computer organization and architecture and telecommunication technology.

Course Intended Learning Outcomes :

At the end of this course, the students should be able to:

1. Develop understanding of Information Technology and its process.


2. Fully understand the concept of MS Power Point.
3. Improve skills in PowerPoint (Designing, Animation & Transition).
4. Develop information generation using Graphs, Pictures and Tables on PowerPoint.
5. Improve presentation skills using MS Power Point.
6. Incorporate technologies offered by Power Point on presentations.
7. Improve competency on real world applications
