A STUDY ON EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION
INTRODUCTION:
Employee satisfaction is the terminology used to describe whether employees are happy and
contented and fulfilling their desires and needs at work. Employee satisfaction depends on
employee motivation, employee goal achievement, and positive employee morale in the
workplace.
Production of LDPE in India started in 1959. At present there are three units manufacturing
LDPE with a total capacity of 1.15 lack tones. Production target for LDPE by the end of
2016-2017 placed 1.86 lack tones.
Production of PVC started in India in 1961 against first production of PVC in the world in
1927. The present total installed capacity crossed to 1.70 lack tones.
COMPANY PROFILE:
Mr. S.P.Y. Reddy (MP) started with a small plastic container manufacturing around 30 years
ago and soon graduated into pipes manufacturing. We are into manufacturing of PVC Pipes,
HDPE Pipes, Storage Containers, Flexible Hoses, Fittings and processing of dairy products.
The present study helps to know the level of Employee Satisfaction. The present study is
needed to assesses the employees' attitude towards the organization. The result will enable
work groups and management to identify strong and weak dimensions and their
implementation.
The scope of the study is confirmed only to the employee satisfaction and needs on the
facilities provided by the Nandi polymers company in Renigunta. The present survey enables
to know about the employee satisfaction on Nandi polymers.

The total of the organization employees are 160 . In this I have taken 100 employees as sample
respondents.
Study Instrument:
The structured questionnaire is used as the research instrument for the study.
Sampling technique: Convenience Sampling.

Primary Data: The primary data was collected through discussion interaction with the
employees.
Secondary data: The secondary data was collected from company records, Books, Websites.
o Due to confidentiality and workload the respondents could not reveal themselves
openly.
o The employees hesitated to disclose the true facts in order to secure their job.

SUGGESTIONS:
Based on the findings in the research we would like to suggest as below mentioned.
It is to be suggested to the company that superior should spend time for discussing the
personal issues of the employees.
If the company will provide group personal accident, medical claim, PF& gratuity
services for the employees.
Training programs should be arranged from which employees can learn new things
which leads to their professional level, which will ultimately effected on their job
satisfaction, which leads to loyalty of them for the organization.
The management has to concentrate more on activities like meditation, yoga, so
workmen may overcome their stress.
It is to be suggested that the increase salaries and also has to concentrate on medical
centre, and working hours which leads to more satisfaction of company workmen.
CONCLUSION:
In NANDI POLYMERS INDIA PVT.LTD most of the employees are satisfied with working
conditions, salary and training programs for their skill development. All employees in the
organization have good inter personal relations. Most of the employees are satisfied with
children education& transport facilities, welfare facilities, work environment, working
conditions and salary.
