50 Unethical Issues

1. Abortion
Abortion is the ending of a pregnancy by removal or expulsion of an
embryo or fetus before it can survive outside the uterus.
An abortion that occurs without intervention is known as a miscarriage
or spontaneous abortion.
2. Death Penalty
Capital punishment, also known as the death penalty, is a government-sanctioned practice
whereby a person is put to death by the state as a punishment for a crime.
3. Divorce
A divorce is an action between married people to terminate their marriage relationship. It can
be referred to as dissolution of marriage and is basically, the legal action that ends the
marriage before the death of either spouse.
4. Deforestation
Deforestation is the permanent removal of trees to make room for something besides forest.
This can include clearing the land for agriculture or grazing, or using the timber for fuel,
construction or manufacturing.
5. Mining
Mining is the process of digging things out of the ground. Any material that cannot be grown
must be mined. Mining can include extraction of metals and minerals, like coal, diamond,
gold, silver, platinum, copper, tin and iron.
6. Dynamite Fishing
Dynamite fishing is the practice of using explosives to stun or kill schools of fish for easy
collection. This often illegal practice can be extremely destructive to the surrounding
ecosystem, as the explosion often destroys the underlying habitat (such as coral reefs) that
supports the fish.
7. Muro Ami Fishing
Muro-ami or muroami is a fishing technique employed on coral reefs in Southeast Asia.
These devices usually comprise large stones fitted on ropes that are pounded into the coral
reefs.
8. Caingin
Kaingin system is the cutting down and burning of trees and plant
growth in an area for cultivation purposes. Kaingin is a Filipino word
that means clearing.
9. Animal Hunting
Hunting is the practice of seeking, pursuing and capturing or killing wild
animals. Hunting wildlife or feral animals is most commonly done by humans for
food, recreation, to remove predators that can be dangerous to humans or domestic
animals, to remove pests that destroy crops or kill livestock, or for trade.
10. Corruption
Corruption is a form of dishonesty or criminal offense undertaken by a person or
organization entrusted with a position of authority, to acquire illicit benefit or abuse power
for one's private gain.
11. Graft
Form of political corruption, being the unscrupulous use of a politician's authority for
personal gain. Similarly, political graft occurs when funds intended for public projects are
intentionally misdirected in order to maximize the benefits to private interests.
12. Embezzlement
Embezzlement is the act of withholding assets for the purpose of conversion (theft) of such
assets, by one or more persons to whom the assets were entrusted, either to be held or to be
used for specific purposes. 
13. Cheating
Cheating is when a person misleads, deceives, or acts dishonestly on purpose. For kids,
cheating may happen at school, at home, or while playing a sport.
14. Bullying
Bullying is the use of force, coercion, or threat, to abuse,
aggressively dominate or intimidate. The behavior is often repeated and habitual. 
15. Robbery
Robbery involves stealing from another person by the use of physical force
or by putting the victim in fear of death or injury.
16. Murder
Murder is the unlawful killing of another human without justification or valid excuse,
especially the unlawful killing of another human with malice aforethought.
17. Rape
Rape is a type of sexual assault usually involving sexual intercourse or other forms
of sexual penetration carried out against a person without that person's consent.
18. Theft
Theft is the taking of another person's property or services without that person's permission
or consent with the intent to deprive the rightful owner of it.
19. Drug Addiction
Drug cultivation or manufacturing is illegally cultivating, producing, or
possessing plants, chemicals, or equipment used for the purpose of
producing drugs.
20. Vandalism
Vandalism is the willful destruction or damaging of property in a manner that defaces, mars,
or otherwise adds a physical blemish that diminishes the property's value.
21. Assault
Criminal assault is defined as an intentional act that results in a person
becoming fearful of imminent bodily harm.
22. Forgery
Forgery includes falsifying documents or signatures or faking an object of
value with the purpose of committing fraud.
23. Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the representation of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or
expressions as one's own original work. Plagiarism is considered academic dishonesty and
a breach of journalistic ethics.
24. Physical Abuse
Physical abuse is any intentional act causing injury or trauma to another person or animal by
way of bodily contact. In most cases, children are the victims of physical abuse, but adults
can also be victims, as in cases of domestic violence or workplace aggression.
25. Bribery
Bribery is the act of offering or receiving compensation for the purpose of
influencing any person who is responsible for performing a public or legal
duty.
26. Adultery
Adultery is extramarital sex that is considered objectionable on social, religious, moral, or
legal grounds.
27. Fraud
Fraud is committed when a person uses deception or misrepresentation for
financial or personal gain.
28. Extortion
Extortion occurs when someone obtains money, property, or services
through an act of coercion.
29. Harassment
Harassment is unwanted behavior intended to annoy, disturb, alarm,
torment, upset, or terrorize an individual or group.
30. Prostitution
Prostitution occurs when a person is compensated in exchange for a sexual
act.
31. Money Laundering
Money laundering occurs when someone attempts to conceal or disguise
the nature, location, source, ownership, or control of proceeds of illegal
actions.
32. Accessory
People are accessories when they solicit, request, command, pursue, or
intentionally aid another person to engage in conduct constituting an
illegal action.
33. Abetting
Aiding and abetting occurs when a person willfully "aids, abets, counsels,
commands, induces or procures" the commission of a crime. 
34. Arson
Arson is when a person intentionally burns a structure, building, land, or
property.
35. Battery
Battery is any unlawful physical contact with another person, including
offensive touching.
36. Burglary
A burglary occurs when someone illegally enters almost any kind of
structure for the purpose of committing an illegal act.
37. Pornography
Child pornography includes the possession, production, distribution, or
sale of sexual images or videos that exploit or portray children.
38. Computer Crime
Computer crime is "any illegal act for which knowledge of computer
technology is essential for successful prosecution."
39. Conspiracy
Conspiracy occurs when two or more people plan a crime with the intent of
committing that crime.
40. Reckless Driving
Reckless driving is often defined as a mental state in which the driver displays a wanton
disregard for the rules of the road; the driver misjudges common driving procedures, often
causing wrecks, accidents and other damages.
41. Disorderly Conduct
Disorderly conduct is a broad term charging anyone whose behavior is a
public nuisance.
42. Disturbing the Peace
Disturbing the peace involves behavior that disturbs the overall order of a
public place or gathering.
43. Domestic Violence
Domestic violence occurs when one member of a household inflicts bodily
harm upon another member of that household.
44. Drunk Driving
Driving under the influence is the crime or offense of driving or operating a motor vehicle
while impaired by alcohol or other drugs, to a level that renders the driver incapable of
operating a motor vehicle safely.
45. Credit Card Fraud
Credit card fraud is committed when a person uses a credit or debit card
illegally to obtain funds from an account or to get merchandise or services
without paying.
46. Identity Theft
Identity theft includes "all types of crime in which someone wrongfully
obtains and uses another person's personal data in some way that involves
fraud or deception, typically for economic gain."
47. Perjury
Perjury occurs when a person gives false information while under oath.
48. Shoplifting
Shoplifting is stealing merchandise from a retail store or business.
49. Tax Evasion
Tax evasion involves taking deliberate actions to conceal or misrepresent a
person's or business's income, profits, or financial gains or to inflate or
falsify tax deductions.
50. Stalking
Stalking occurs when a person, over time, follows, harasses, or watches
another person.
