Dear Engr. Diron:

Greetings of Peace!

This is in connection to the letter transmitted to the Office of the Sangguniang

Bayan from Engr. Aurelio A. Pulangas, Municipal Engineer requesting for permission
from the Legislative Body to demolish the old Interco building located at Purok Espada,
Eastern Looc, Plaridel, Misamis Occidental. Upon the inspection made by the
Engineering Office they strongly recommended for the immediate demolition of the
above stated structure considering its hazardous state threatening public safety,
damage to lives and property as it is established at an area near to residential houses.

However, the Committee on Public Works and Infrastructure upon their

inspection recommended otherwise, the old Interco building can be restored and re-
established as a local economic enterprise which can generate income for both the local
government unit and the residents of the Barangay Eatern Looc.

Following the discussion of the Committee on Infrastructure and Engr. Pulangas

on the 19th Regular Session of the Sangguniang Bayan of Plaridel, both parties decided
to invite an independent entity to conduct another inspection on the property.

In view of this, the undersigned would like to respectfully request your good
office to visit and conduct an assessment on the old Interco building and submit a
written report of your findings and recommendations and present the same to the
Legislative Body during its Regular Session on Monday, June 29, 2020, 9:30 AM
in the Session Hall, Legislative Building.
